Hey there! I'm Lyanna-May, your soon-to-be-favorite author with a knack for diving deep into the human mind, courtesy of my bachelor's degree in psychology and ongoing pursuit of a master's degree in the same field.

Flashback to my elementary school days, and you'd find little me, completely smitten with storytelling, handcrafting booklets from construction paper. Fast forward to now and not much has changed, except now I've swapped construction paper for Scrivener and my imagination's scope has expanded into novel-sized stories.

Speaking of novels, 2022 was the year I decided to kick things up a notch. That's when I dove headfirst into creating my debut novel, "A Very Good Girl." Trust me when I say it’s been a wild and wonderful ride.

But hey, writing's not all I'm about. When I'm not threading sentences together, I often switch gears to painting, video games, or playing softball. I'm also kept busy by my two year old dog Thor, university work, and full time work.

I've set up this website as a hub for my upcoming book, sure, but I also want it to be a place for connection. I’m hoping to gather a community of readers and writers here.
